Kia Ora, Hello and Bonjour ! :) I am a French native speaker.
Tutoring Experience:
I have worked for 10 years in Education, including 7 years of French and English teaching, School Counselor, Head of After School Care and Education, Administrative and Social Assistant.
Tutoring Approach:
The first lesson with me is used to check the level needed, the 'how' and 'when' and to see if I suit you.
You will have personalized worksheets after each lesson and I am available to help about it 24/7 through emails/texts.
If you need training (e.g. NCEA, DELF), or conversational, I am your tutor. Writing, speaking and pronunciation, work at your own rythm on your favorite themes or subjects with an understanding tutor.

Our daughter has gone from lacking confidence and not wanting to attend class to looking forward to it and actively participating in class. I would, without a doubt, recommend Laurene. She knows how to teach at the level you are at .
Eg she speaks slow to me in French and corrects me in a encouraging and precise way . While we meet via Skype or zoom we talk and same time she types up the words or grammar etc I need to work on . By the end of our lesson she emails it to me .
But above all it is fun and light . I have had about one month of one or two lessons a week and feel way more confident already. I always look forward to our lesson . I recommend her unreservedly.!! Martine

From Natasha (/5): Lauren is a really nice tutor and she can help you by tailoring your lessons to anything specific that you want to study whether it be preparing for an exam or simply working on your conversational language skills. She is fluent in my native language (English) which is particularly great when you do not understand something and things can always be explained in your native language to make sure you really understand.
