Personal Description:

I'm currently in Sydney studying at the University of Sydney in the Double Degree Medicine Programme. I received 6 medical school offers in 2021 including offers from the University of Queensland, UNSW and the University of Adelaide.

For Semester 1 in 2022 I achieved a semester average of a High Distinction at USyd obtaining a High Distinction in all my units.

I graduated from high school in 2021 and I was a CIE student at Macleans College. I've always had a passion for learning and teaching! I had a great time learning science, mathematics and english. There is nothing that brings me more joy than helping other people out - it runs in the family as both my parents were teachers - and I'd be honoured to tutor. **Removed By Admin**

I'd like to offer my availability to tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Physics (Science), Mathematics and English. I obtained the top grade in all my classes and top in the school for both Biology and Physics in 2020. I achieved top in my school for English Language and Physics again in 2021.
In 2021 I also gained an NZQA Outstanding Scholar Award and participated in the International Biology Olympiad at the National Level and was chosen for the National level for the Chemistry Olympiad too.

My external CIE grades are as follows:
99 A2 Math -> 93 A level Mathematics
98 A2 Biology -> 95 A level Biology
97 AS Physics -> 90+ A level (SAG)
92 AS Chemistry -> 90+ A level (SAG)
89 AS English Language -> 90+ A level (SAG)

My 2021 mock grades are as follows;
97 in A level Chemistry
99 in A level Physics
92 in A level English Language

In my end of year mock exams in 2020 I achieved;
99 in A level Biology
97 in AS Physics
95 in AS Chemistry
92 in A level Mathematics.

I achieved all A*'s in my IGCSEs (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Combined Science and English Language) and A's in both AS Biology and Mathematics.

I sat the ANZ University Clinical Aptitude test and obtained a score of 3370 - very high 99th percentile. UCAT tutoring is also available on request.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience working as a professional tutor for students of a wide range of ages as a part time job. I have tutored over 20 students one on one. My students have an age range from 9-17 and come from a variety of different backgrounds and abilities.
I've also tutored my peers at my school and run tutorial classes. I've always enjoyed it so much.

Tutoring Approach:

From experience I know how difficult school can get, especially when you go into your senior years at college - it's always useful to get a head start in the holidays and much better to work consistently throughout the year.

It is important to me before I start teaching to know the goals of the student and what they aim to achieve through private tutoring and I will shape my lessons around this.

I promise to bring enthusiasm and new studying concepts into play when teaching so my students will be able to find themselves understanding and wanting to know more about the subject and spending more time improving their techniques. With every single student I will aim to unlock their full potential.

I have in depth notes for all subjects and techniques I've found to be beneficial. I believe understanding the content you're learning well, even though it may take more time is much better than pure ro**Contact Detail Removed**arning and memorisation. By being able to get all your questions answered as they arise, you'll be able to create fuller pictures of concepts in your mind.
