Personal Description:
Long term ESOL teaching experience. My lessons are enjoyable and interesting. I have taught in England, Japan, China and New Zealand.
Tutoring Experience:
22 years of teaching experience Mainly in Japan and NZ. Whitireia Polytechnic and Kansai Gaidai are two of the Tertiary institutes where I've taught. I teach all ages and all levels, beginner to IELTS.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach fun and lively interactive lessons with a modern "communicative" approach. I also teach IELTS in a formal examination approach using exam rubrics with a high success rate. To date four of four students have increased from a 4.5 overall result to 6.5 + 7 in just 8 lessons.
