Personal Description:
Hello!
I'm originally for NZ, and have a BSc(Hons) degree in chemistry from the University of Canterbury and a PhD in chemistry from the University of California, Davis. I have worked as a post-doctoral research scientist at the University of Oxford, the University of Tokyo, and the University of Queensland
I returned to New Zealand in 2022. I am currently self-employed, working as a freelance researcher, editor and tutor.
I offer private tutoring in chemistry (high school and university levels). I am available for in-person tutoring in Hawke's Bay and on-line tutoring.
My aim is to make chemistry an interesting, engaging (and not too daunting!) experience.

My approach is flexible depending on the needs of the client. For example, we can recap the relevant theory, go over practice problems or learn about applications of the science.
