Personal Description:

Hi everyone,
Coming from a foreign land and culture, I understand the hurdles and obstacles one comes across and finding the right help is the only way to face the challenges. My name’s Geetika and I’m proud NZ citizen who has been helping mostly tertiary level students and adults mould their future.

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve been teaching English as a second language for over 19 years now and currently working as a senior staff at an esteemed university in New Zealand. Whether it’s IELTS, university prep, academic English or language development, I will be more than happy to use my expertise to help you achieve your goals.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in a personalised learner based communicative approach. The only way a student will be able to acquire new knowledge is by communicating and being heard. I like to keep it simple. I do a needs analysis and build a rapport with my students first before anything else in order to provide a lesson conducive to learning.
