Personal Description:
Kia Ora, I am a highly motivated individual dedicated to excellence in education and holistic student
development. My background encompasses teaching IB Psychology and MYP, alongside leadership
roles in debating and football coaching, which have honed my skills in communication, teamwork, and
mentorship.
Additionally, my tenure as a research assistant at the University of Waikato, delving into concussion
research, has equipped me with a strong foundation in scientific inquiry and data analysis.
I have also excelled in teaching Senior Biology and Junior Science, fostering a deep understanding of
complex concepts and cultivating curiosity in young minds. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in
Education, my passion for education, psychology, and developmental theories fuels my commitment to
continuous learning and innovative pedagogical approaches. As I embark on new challenges, I am
eager to leverage my diverse experiences and expertise to inspire and empower students on their
educational journey.
