Personal Description:

Hello! I am a second year medical student at the University of Auckland.

I applied through the biomedical science degree achieving an A+ in CHEM110 and BIOSCI 107. I absolutely loved all the core subjects in first year Biomed particularly CHEM110 and MEDSCI142, hence I am really passionate about teaching them.

I completed AS and A level chemistry + biology achieving an A* in chemistry.

I'm mainly tutoring to garner experience in teaching as a skill, as I think personally being able to explain and communicate concepts to others is such an important life skill.

Tutoring Experience:

I have just recently started tutoring hence my price is relatively low compared to others Ive seen on some platforms, but from my current students I can confidently say i'll make your money's worth in that hour of tutoring and ensure that my student fully understands the content step-by-step.

Tutoring Approach:

I always try to start my lessons with a recap / revision questions from the previous lessons, which typically take around 15 minutes. The remainder of the 45 minutes is theory work and I do incorporate small questions here and there to solidify concepts.

I know everyone learns differently at different paces and approaches so I try my best to tailor them accordingly.
