Personal Description:

Hello! I’m Duleeka , an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a strong background in Science and Technology. I hold a Master of Science in Applied Electronics and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colombo, complemented by a Graduate Diploma in Applied Management from Otago International Auckland Campus.

With over five years of academic experience and four years in the telecommunications and electronics industry, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students. My career journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set, allowing me to effectively guide students in both theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

Tutoring Experience:

Academic Experience
Lecturer | Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College (CINEC)
Years: 2014 to 2017

At CINEC, I was part of the pioneering lecture panel of the newly established Aviation Department. My role encompassed not just teaching but also course coordination, student assessment, and enrolment. I collaborated with various departments to launch successful marketing campaigns for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) courses. I also actively participated in campus events and led the organization of the campus's first sports day, which later evolved into an annual sports carnival.

Demonstrator and Tutor | Faculty of Science, University of Colombo
Years: 2013 to 2014

During my Master’s studies, I worked as a Demonstrator and Tutor in the Department of Physics. This role involved guiding graduate students through research and practical laboratory courses, demonstrating physics experiments, and supporting data collection and analysis. I also played a significant role in exam invigilation and participated in the university’s research projects.

IT Instructor and Tutor | Faculty of Science, University of Colombo
Years: 2011 to 2012

As an IT Instructor and Tutor, I managed the IT laboratory, provided support to students, and enhanced the lab’s facilities. I administered hardware and software updates, monitored student progress, and developed instructional materials. My efforts transformed the IT lab into a central hub for student registration and a comfortable study environment.
