Personal Description:
I am an experienced, approachable and friendly tutor. My classes involves one-to-one tutoring, group classes as well as ONLINE Classes. I teach Mathematics, Chemistry and Science. I do always bring out the best in a student.
Tutoring Experience:
I was a teacher of Secondary and Pre-University level Mathematics and Science/Chemistry for students doing the Cambridge A-Levels and IGCSE syllabus for 30 years. I had also tutored NCEA and IB students in Mathematics and Chemistry.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is being investigative and student-centered. It starts with finding out the level and learning style of of the student and subsequently gearing my lessons according to his/her ability. I use a time-trusted drill method as well especially in Mathematics and an investigative approach in Science. Practice and trials of past year's questions are much used too.
