Personal Description:
Hi! My name is Cephora and I reside in Auckland, New Zealand. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology and a Postgraduate Science degree in Occupational Health. I have tutored students from primary school all the way to senior level over the last 3 years, and I have received amazing feedback from my students and their parents. Throughout my tutoring and teaching career, I helped my students improve their grades significantly and boosted their confidence, which subsequently improved their performance in other school subjects.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 3 years of experience tutoring Mathematics, English and Biology to students from primary school to high school, including teaching English as a second language to adults
Tutoring Approach:
I like to adopt a communicative and collaborative teaching style in my lessons, whereby there is some interaction between myself and my student. My goal is to impart knowledge to my students, whilst making them feel comfortable enough to ask questions throughout the lesson.
