Personal Description:

My name is AMAL. I am an educator and an engineer by profession. I have worked in academia, industry and research both locally and globally. Nearly half of my career spent on facilitating learning. I derive lots of satisfaction by observing when my past students are performing well not only in New Zealand but all over the world. Having lived here in Palmy for nearly the last twenty years, I come across many of my students in the city or around.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over twenty (20) years of teaching experience. I have facilitated and enabled the learning of many students who lead a fulfilling life. During that time I have received many commendations and appreciations. I can relate the subject that the learner has to study to day to day activities. My Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching and many learning and teaching courses under taken helps me to impart subject knowledge using state of the art learning and teaching tools. Tutoring Approach:

I would like to be remembered as a teacher who inspired to learn by making their learning relevant and enjoyable to study while providing them with the intellect to solve problems and to overcome professional challenges in life. I hope this approach will help to mould a young person who is confident, connected, actively involved as a lifelong learner with a can-do attitude that the learner could lead a fulfilling life. I will facilitate a holistic approach to school learners by enabling them to develop intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual and physical dimensions of life while learner-centred learning that I lead having cultural awareness with a focus on literacy.
