Personal Description:

I received my Ph.D.in Mathematics in 2009 and then, in the following eight years, I worked as a lecturer in Applied Mathematics department in Nanjing University of Finance & Economics, China. I moved to Christchurch in 2017. Since 2018, I've been a maths private tutor in the University of Canterbury until 2020. In May of 2020, I moved to Auckland, and lived with my family.

Tutoring Experience:

I have eight years experience in teaching mathematics in China. I am a passionate and enthusiastic tutor. And I am capable of teaching algebra, calculus, statistics from NCEA level 1 to undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel. Also I would like to help you to get high scores in scholarship math, Cambridge Math and IB math exams. Besides those, I also do the tutoring for some math selection test and competitions, e.g… HSPT (High School Placement Test / extension class testing), AMC (Australian Mathematics Competition), Mathex, Otago math competition, Canta Math, etc.

Tutoring Approach:

Students enjoyed my lecture pretty much. They never dosed in my classroom since I delivered the math knowledge in a humour and informative and logical way. In 2014, I was nominated as one of the best student-welcomed teachers in our university.
