Personal Description:
My name is Till and I’m originally from Germany. I moved to Dublin in the summer of 2019, completed a PG Diploma in Teaching German at NUIM in 2020 and a Professional Master in Education (PME) at UCD in 2022 (GPA 4.1), my placement having been in St. Kilian's German School Dublin and Wesley College Dublin (WCD). I am teaching full time in St. Kilian's since 2022, with the subjects of German, CSPE as well as Politics & Society.
I’m passionate about teaching and have extensive experience in tutoring one to one in diverse subjects, ranging from German to Politics, Latin and Maths. Moreover, I have been teaching German evening classes in a language school. I am a native German speaker with a great passion to improve the German of my students while keeping the experience fun. My tutoring is tailored to the needs of the student.
Tutoring Experience:
I have thorough teaching experience, having taught in different settings and levels.
Starting in secondary school, I taught Latin, Maths and Chemistry to Junior and Senior cycle students. After having graduated from the German School of Barcelona, I started studying Political Science and Public Policy and continued to tutor both junior and senior cycle students in Maths and German. Having excelled both in Math and German myself, it was fun to impart the classes. My latest teaching experience was at university level, teaching a seminar about current environmental and social issues.
Approach to Grinds:
I'm a native German speaker with a great passion to improve the German of my students while keeping the experience fun. My tutoring is tailored to the needs of the student.
