Personal Description:

I am a recent postgraduate from DCU with an MSc in Software Engineering. I bring with me more than 5 years of work experience as a Full-stack software developer. I have been part of the software development process right from the architecture design to development, testing and deployment.

Tutoring Experience:

Being a Senior software developer, I have a lot of experience conducting training sessions for new hires.
As an undergrad I was part of a student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery(ACM) where I taught students programming in PHP and Javascript.

I have experience with multiple technologies including the following:

Approach to Grinds:

I am a self-learner, learning computer programming and several other technologies throughout college and on the job. I understand that the path of self-learning can be difficult and often you feel lost along the way. I can guide you along throughout the journey. Also if something is beyond my expertise I can offer to show you a direction on the right path. Mentoring friends and colleagues at work has improved my skill of delivering complex topics across various skill levels.

My approach involves focusing primarily on the fundamentals of the subject. After that I aim to gradually move towards the difficult parts. I always improvise on this to make my methodology best suit the student. I always try to explain concepts with real-life use-cases and applications as I feel this is the best way to learn something new. I feel my experience within academia and the industry will be beneficial to this aim.
