Personal Description:

My name is Sinéad and I am from Tullamore. I have 7 years teaching experience and have taught in a variety of schools and class levels. I have experience working with children of all ages and have been giving grinds for years.
Willing to travel within Tullamore and surrounding areas.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a passion for the Irish language and have experience teaching students of all ages. I have completed many summers as a student, cinnire and cúinteoir in the well known Irish college Coláiste Lurgan and I have also taught in Gaelscoileanna. When I teach Irish, I encourage as much speaking as possible for all ages as I believe that speaking the language can improve the language competency hugely. I have also helped many students with English and maths and I am also certified to teach English as a foreign language.

Approach to Grinds:

My aim is to improve confidence and ability. I structure my grinds to allow for lots of conversation and a variety of activities. I encourage the children to give everything a go, try their best and to ask lots of questions. I think grinds at primary school age are valuable to fill in gaps that may have occurred in the child's learning, which is very common since Covid 19. I provide a tailored one to one lesson which caters focuses on small learning steps at a pace which suits the individual.

I offer grinds for primary level students in English, Irish and Maths.

I also will deduct €5 from the cost of the first lesson as you will have purchased my details from first tutors website.
