Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Sandra and I am an experienced Irish Secondary School Teacher in Ireland. I offer in person and/or online grinds in Leaving Certificate Biology, Chemistry, JC Science and JC Maths. My qualifications include an Honours Bachelor of Science from Maynooth University and a Professional Master of Education from Maynooth University. I have 5 years teaching experience in Post Primary setting as well as 2 years experience in a grinds school. In addition I correct the Irish Leaving Certificate Chemistry and Biology Examinations.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching in schools both Dublin and in the Midlands. My subject areas are Junior Cert Science, Leaving Cert Biology and Leaving Cert Chemistry. I am highly aware of whats expected in the exam as I supervise the Leaving Certificate Exams and also correct the LC Chemistry and Biology Exams every year.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds varies with every student. Different individuals have different needs and I adjust my grinds to that. Usually, at the start of the first session I first figure out what type of learner the student is, where exactly he/she is struggling and what are their expectations. I'm a very ambitious teacher and always try my best to full-fill the students needs in relation to the final grade they want to obtain or if they require additional notes/resources for topics.
