Personal Description:

I'm a Brazilian who's been living in Ireland for the last 7 years. I've studied and worked in the country from the start, giving me the opportunity to learn it's history, culture, folklore and traditions through college and it's people. If you seek someone to help you or your kids with History (be it Irish, American, European or Brazilian history or general world history), Philosophy, Portuguese or English, I'm here to facilitate with your education.

Tutoring Experience:

I've worked as both an English and History teacher in Brazil, and as a Portuguese and History teacher in Ireland; with over 3 years experience in teaching, especially 1-on-1 classes.

Approach to Grinds:

When it comes to Languages, I use immersive methods that seek to widen the vocabulary of my students through day to day topics of their choosing, followed by a steady introduction of basic grammar structures and principles.

As a history teacher on the other hand, I combine the studying of it with the use of visual aids (specially for the analysis military engagements and political disputes), and the analysis of history through the lenses of the different parties involved on the topic at hand so that my students can develop critical analysis of events (after all, History is written by the victors).
