Information About Rachel - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a fully qualified home economics teacher based in south Dublin. I graduated from St. Angela’s College, Sligo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts (Education, Home Economics and Biology) and in 2020 with a Professional Masters in Education with Home Economics.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching both Junior and Senior Cycle home economics for the past five years in a south Dublin secondary school. I am an experienced Leaving Certificate higher level home economics examiner, having corrected at this level for the past four years with the State Examinations Commission. I have also experience correcting both written and practical home economics exams at Junior Cycle.

Approach to Grinds:

I provide students with concise exam focused notes and revision aids for each topic and work on answering past exam questions to provide students with the tools to manage similar exam questions and develop their exam technique. I cater for all learning styles and abilities, aiming to help students reach their maximum individual potential and achieve the grade they deserve.
