Personal Description:
I am Patricia, an astrophysics scientist doing research at Trinity College Dublin. I have a bachelor's degree in Physics and a master's degree in Astrophysics. I am a native German speaker and fluent in English, so I can offer to teach in English or German.
Tutoring Experience:
I tutored many kids in secondary school in one-to-one sessions during my undergraduate studies in Germany.
During my PhD studies, I taught math preparatory courses to prospective physics students. These were groups of about 15 students.
Approach to Grinds:
Every student is different and learns differently. For me, focusing on students' unique needs and goals is essential. I assess what students already know and make connections to new content. Together, we set goals for future sessions and ensure that we achieve these goals as well as possible.
