Personal Description:

I'm originally from Wicklow, but I now live in Beaumont, Dublin. I work at St. Paul's College, where I have the pleasure of teaching a range of subjects. At the Junior Certificate level, I guide students through Science and Maths, and at the Leaving Certificate level, I delve into Biology and PE. I’m passionate about making my classes engaging and accessible, always looking to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for my students

Tutoring Experience:

With two years of teaching and three work placements, I’ve built a solid foundation in the classroom. I love helping students achieve their best by creating a positive and engaging environment. I’m all about encouraging hard work and a growth mindset, so students feel confident pushing their boundaries and reaching new goals

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds starts with understanding each student’s unique needs through an initial chat. From there, we set clear goals and focus on key areas for improvement. I provide extra resources like worksheets, summary notes, and exam tips to support learning.
During sessions, I emphasise exam techniques, working through past papers, and offering ongoing feedback and encouragement. I also like to use technology and interactive tools to keep lessons engaging. If something isn’t working, I’m always open to adapting the approach to suit the student better.
