Personal Description:

I am a Facilities Engineer (ex Post doc and part time lecturer UCD), currently working as a Structural Engineering in Dublin. By nature, I am a researcher and have a doctorate in engineering with a few high impact journal publications.
Also very much interested in mathematics and science. Throughout my education life, I have always succeeded with above average/top percentile results and I like to disseminate my knowledge in a best way possible.

Part-time lecturer: University College Dublin (Module: Mechanics of Material) - 6 months
Lab demonstrator: University College Dublin (Modules: soil mechanics, mechanics of material, geotechnical engineering) - 3.5 years

Taught 1st years engineering students innovation and creativity for 6 months during my masters in University College Dublin.

Taught research methodology and writing skills to fresh Phds for 3 months in Dublin.

Taught 16+ yrs old mathematics and sciences for leaving cert. - 3 months.

Volunteered as a Lego teacher for 4-8 yrs old during 2017 summers time at a camp.

Approach to Grinds:

I always keep the sessions interactive to get students' reviews and analyse the level of their understanding. I value their opinions and teach each student according to his/her temperament and capabilities.
I focus on clearing concepts first theoretically and then from exercise questions.
Making sure the understanding of things is clear perfectly.
Take tests frequently to improve retaining and revision of concepts.
Go from very easy questions to complicated ones in order to teach the level of complexity a concept can deal.
Make concepts easier to understand through practical day to day examples.
