I'm a dedicated Science Education student with a focus on teaching Biology and Chemistry. Through my studies, l've gained a deep understanding of these subjects providing high quality lessons. I focus on teaching Chemistry and Biology effectively helping students gain confidence and excel.

Tutoring Experience:

As a second-year college student at UCC studying Science Education, I have had the opportunity to gain practical teaching experience in both secondary and primary school settings. Throughout my program, I have focused on learning how to effectively teach chemistry and biology, equipping myself with the skills to foster a deep understanding of these subjects in students. My placements in a secondary school and a primary school have allowed me to apply my knowledge in real classroom environments, honing my teaching strategies and communication skills. The mandatory secondary school placement has been particularly valuable, as it has given me a clear understanding of the dynamics of teaching older students and tailoring my approach to meet their educational needs

Approach to Grinds:

In my chemistry and biology lessons, I focus on making complex topics accessible through clear explanations and easy-to-follow strategies. I break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, helping students build a solid understanding at their own pace. As a goal setter, I guide students in setting realistic and achievable academic targets, fostering a sense of direction and motivation. I also emphasize effective study techniques and offer amazing, well-organized notes that help students absorb and retain information more easily. Above all, I believe in supporting every student to reach their full potential, creating an inclusive learning environment where they feel encouraged to excel.
