Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Judith. I am a qualified French and Spanish secondary school teacher from Dublin. I have been teaching both languages for the last 7 years and have been giving grinds for the last 8 years.

Over the last few years since Covid-19 I have been giving 1-1 grinds online via Zoom. This has worked extremely well as I can share my screen, use a digital pen, share E-books and use a wide range of digital resources throughout each lesson. At the end of each grind, I email all resources to the student. Due to the positive experiences had by both myself and my students online, I will be continuing to give grinds online via Zoom going forward.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught all secondary school year groups, from 1st to 6th year, for the last 5 years. I teach both Higher Level and Ordinary Level students. I believe classes should be fun and involve active activities which get the students thinking for themselves and also having fun while doing so. Online learning allows for digital resources to be used as well as Ebooks.

Approach to Grinds:

Exam preparation - Junior Cycle / Leaving Certificate.
Written work (Leaving Cert Essays/Diary Entries/Notes etc. & Junior Cert Blogs/Letters/Paragraphs etc)
Oral work (I will provide notes, help you form your own answers, work on pronunciation & do practice mock orals with you)
Role Plays for Spanish Oral.
Aural vocabulary + exam paper practice.
