Personal Description:
Hello! I'm looking forward to supporting you! I have 15 years of language teaching experience with a track record of improving tutees' grades. I hold a First Class (Hons.) Degree in French and German, a 'distinction' in my teaching practice exam, and have taught in schools, language colleges and universities, as well as private tutoring.
I teach French, German and English as a Second Language.
Tutoring Experience:
I am an experienced language tutor with a proven track record of supporting learners of all ages—from children to adults—in both online and in-person settings. My teaching journey has taken me across diverse educational institutions including schools, language colleges and universities, as well as several countries such as England, Germany, China, Vietnam, and Austria. I have gained valuable experience with students of varying levels of proficiency, from beginner to advanced.
In addition to teaching, I served as the Head of the English Department at a private university in Dublin, where I led curriculum development and ensured high-quality instruction. My students consistently achieve measurable progress, with many seeing significant improvements in their grades and overall language skills. Whether you're aiming to build confidence, enhance fluency, or excel academically, I am committed to helping you reach your goals.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach to grinds is entirely learner-centered, meaning I customize each session to suit the unique needs, goals, and learning style of the student. I draw on a diverse range of resources—including flashcards, songs, textbooks, grammar exercises, and interactive activities—to ensure language learning is both effective and enjoyable.
I am known for my patient and supportive teaching style, and directors of the language schools where I’ve worked have described me as an intuitive and natural teacher. My goal is to share my passion for languages and culture, helping you build confidence and skill in your own language journey. Together, we’ll make learning engaging, creative, and tailored to your success!
