Information About Jennifer - Wexford tutor

Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Jennifer . I studied German and Japanese at university and lived in Japan for ten years. I did language courses in Japan and proficiency tests. I also have a Masters in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Official Language).

Tutoring Experience:

I have nine years of English language teaching ranging from primary to university.

I am proficient in Japanese and have tutored some students taking their leaving certificate in Japanese. I have helped them on their grammar and speaking skills.

Approach to Grinds:

I tend to ask the students what they would like to work on. I try to keep a student centered approach and act as a facilitator and help students learn language that is meaningful to them. I have students practice and repeat structures or phrases they want to learn and explain grammar points by giving simple examples and have students create their own sentences.
