Information About Heather - Kildare tutor

Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Heather. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 4 years experience currently teaching in North Dublin and living in North Kildare. I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities and also students who have additional needs. I am offering face-to-face tuition or online and/or homework help on weekdays after school hours.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 4 years teaching experience both in a mainstream class and also as a special education teacher. I have worked with students who have ASD, ODD, EBD, dyslexia, and English as an additional language.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is to create a fun learning environment. I begin with a chat with the parent or guardian to discuss the needs of the child and then make a plan by incorporating these needs. I think its important to have a positive relationship with the child and ensure they feel comfortable with me. I use a playful approach when learning where possible.
