Personal Description:

I am a biology and junior cycle science teacher and am available to do biology and junior cycle science grinds in Dublin 13 and surrounding areas.

Junior Cycle written examiner.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching in a variety of schools since 2010. I am currently teaching through irish so am willing to teach biology through irish or english.

I have corrected JC science for the past two years and as a result am better equipped to teach students what to focus on and how to answer exam questions.

Approach to Grinds:

I will cover as much of a topic in the hour as possible. I will make bullet point notes on the topic from which the student can make their own notes. I will go through a few exam questions and give all questions on that topic to the student to do for the next week. At the beginning of the next grind we’ll go through the exam questions as revision before starting the next topic and repeating the same process. I can provide a revision timetable which has what topics to be covered week to week and all exam questions on all topics. This can help to keep students on track and prevent cramming in late May.
