Hi! I’m Erica, a passionate and qualified biology and chemistry student teacher, currently based in Rathpeacon , Co. Cork. Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive teaching experience, having worked with numerous students in both biology and chemistry, many of whom have improved by 2-3 grades in their Leaving Cert exams. In addition to offering grinds, I have completed teaching placements in two different schools, where I taught both biology and chemistry, as well as junior cycle maths. Currently, I’m substituting at a local school, where I support whole class instruction in my core subjects and provide personalized classes to students, including those with additional needs. My diverse teaching background allows me to adapt to different learning styles and ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.

My approach to grinds is focused and results-driven, ensuring students are fully prepared for their exams. I prioritize working through past exam questions and closely following the relevant marking schemes, allowing students to become familiar with the format and expectations of the exam. I also ensure that all content aligns with the specific curriculum for each subject, so students receive targeted support that directly addresses the key areas they need to master. This structured and exam-focused approach helps build confidence, improve performance, and achieve higher grades.
