Personal Description:
Hi, my name is Emma. I have been teaching both in Ireland and abroad for the past 12 years in a variety of different schools.
Tutoring Experience:
I am an experienced teacher of Leaving Certificate Agricultural Science,Biology and Chemistry, as well as ordinary level Maths. At Junior Certificate Level I am experienced in teaching Maths and Science to all levels.
Approach to Grinds:
All my grinds now take place online. I use a variety of different technology, most of the work I do is on Microsoft Teams ( can use other online options if necessary) as well as digital flashcards and other tool online. It is very important to me that lessons are active and engaging, and achievable. I work hard to foster an open dialogue between the student and myself to encourage open discussion on what they are finding the most difficult parts of the course and creating a plan to improve on this over the time we have. I will be taking on a limited number of students over the summer period.
