Now taking names for the academic year 2021 - 2022
If anyone is interested in doubling up with another student of similar ability please let me know

I do face to face lessons from my home in Athy. I also do online grinds using zoom or Skype.

I am currently working as a secondary school teacher and grinds teacher in Athy, Kildare, based in Athy town.
I have taught both Leaving Cert and Junior Cert students at higher and ordinary level. My students have achieved high in exams.
I have written up straight forward notes tailored to the exams.

Unfortunately I cannot travel to the students home as I have limited time between grinds throughout the week.

Please take note that I will be taking November to January off from lessons this year

Tutoring Experience:

8 years as secondary school teacher and 8 years as grinds teacher.
State examiner for the last 5 years, and I also correct the mocks throughout the year.

Approach to Grinds:

I like to keep my approach simple and straightforward. I have spent a lot of time designing notes tailored to the state exams that will help you get a good grade with minimum learning required.
We do exam paper questions, oral practices, etc.
The student dictates the grind and they tell me what they want and we work from there.

**Please note I’m really busy at this time of the year with grinds/teaching so please give me 24 hour in advance if you have to cancel a grind Most people are polite enough to do this anyway. It’s common practice to still charge students if they don’t give advance notice or simply don’t turn up, and I want to avoid that at all costs, so please just notify me in plenty of time!
