Personal Description:
Hey there! So first things first, My name is Diana. I am in my final year studying Accounting & Finance at DCU.
I'm a chilled-out person but also very bubbly at times. I enjoy playing badminton, swimming or hanging out with my friends in my free time.
Tutoring Experience:
Previous teaching experience, I started giving grinds now for the junior and senior cycle of the Irish Leaving Certificate for Maths, Biology and Business studies now since 2021. I currently have 3 years of teaching experience.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach is very simple and what I have realised during my experience is trying to not jump from one topic or the other, working on students weaker areas first to see if there are improvements. Trying to keep a safe environment and letting them know that although their answers could be wrong sometimes that's how you move on and learn from your mistakes. I always give my students summary sheets of a certain topic which I found to be really helpful especially before an exam comes up, and I keep scores of all their tests also to see if the student is really excelling or not.
