Personal Description:

Hi there, is mise Ciara! I am a recent graduate of Maynooth University with a first class degree in Irish and Geography. I am offering grinds in Irish for all levels (*offering summer grinds too)! I’m in my early twenties and have just completed my degree so I have the benefit of recent experience in Leaving Cert and University level Irish!

Tutoring Experience:

I have given University level Irish grinds and Junior cert level German grinds.
I spent the last few months working as a substitute teacher in a Gaelscoil and I plan on doing my PME to become a fully qualified teacher next year as I am passionate about teaching!
I am currently working as an Au pair and English tutor in Seville, Spain so I have lots of experience in teaching :)

Approach to Grinds:

I would discuss the best approach that would suit the students learning needs such as conversations as Gaeilge, learning key words for Irish essays, breaking down the grammar points etc.
My approach would really be shaped around the individuals needs, and I would incorporate skills that helped me achieve high grades in both school and University!
