Personal Description:

Bridging the gap between traditional education and real-life applications, the primary mission involves fostering self-learning, character development, and a positive attitude while emphasizing their crucial roles in sustainable success. Passionate, outgoing, and ambitious, I am a 28-year-old Irish male fluent in French.

Prioritising the enhancement of student confidence and trust in their abilities, succeeding in exams and applying knowledge goes beyond mere acquisition. Each class is an opportunity for continuous improvement.

Armed with an MSc in Business Intelligence, a BSc in Mathematical Sciences, from the University College Cork(UCC), and a Leadership In Training (LIT) certificate from the YMCA, I bring over 10 years of experience tutoring Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and French to secondary school students. I also support Statistics and Mechanics for college students, assisting in research projects for STEM students.

Most of the students I've worked with have pursued studies at prestigious institutions like Trinity College Dublin, UCC, MTU, NUIG, etc… in various fields ranging from Neuroscience and Law to Engineering and Medicine.

Currently employed as a Technical Support Engineer at NetApp, a world-leading cloud American enterprise in storage management in Ireland, I achieved the highest Leaving Cert points in my school despite arriving in Ireland without English as a primary language just 3.5 years earlier.

Beyond academics, I have a deep love for sports and have represented both my university and Ireland in soccer, Taekwondo, and Kickboxing. Additionally, I've participated in various science and art competitions. My strong interest in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics further complements my diverse skill set.

Approach to Grinds:

Improvement of student confidence and trust in one's ability in the area of need is my priority. Sitting an exam or using knowledge is much more than having the knowledge. Every class for me is an opportunity to do better.

1) Concepts/Ideas/Fundamentals don't change but questions change(to widen perspectives).
2) I Ask students main area of struggle and plan approach to solving the issues. Throughout the classes attention is also paid as to what might be hidden areas of struggle.
3) Teach required topic concept(s).
4) Show 2-3 applications of concepts Interactively.
5) Questions are assigned to students to do directly and interactive corrections are made.
6) 1-3 exams take away questions assigned and the required time to complete questions is assigned.
7) I avail myself to answer any quick questions at anytime of the day via any recognized and accepted source of communication that suits you which we can exchange.
8) Questions are corrected interactively at next class. The student is also free to tell me to move to a different topic of interest anytime.
