Personal Description:

I currently work in a secondary school in North Dublin. I am happy to travel to provide tuition if appropriate.

- BMus graduate Maynooth University (1:1)
- Professional Master of Education University of Limerick (1:1)
- Registered with Irish Teaching Council
- Proven track record of tutor students receiving a H1 in HL Music
- Can teach individual aspects (listening, composing, performing) of any curriculum if required
- Experienced in classical, Irish and choral music

I will be taking on a maximum of two students in September 24' so please only send serious inquiries.

Tutoring Experience:

- Currently working as a music teacher in a secondary school and teach all aspects of the Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert curricula.
- Have previously taught GCSE and A-Level music
- Have taught RIAM grades
- I am an experienced Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert practical examiner

Approach to Grinds:

- I prefer to teach in an in-person setting as opposed to online. There are certain aspects of the Leaving Cert music course that are easier to demonstrate and comprehend in person.
- Should you need tuition and are not in an ideal location, don't hesitate to contact me to set up a Zoom call with regards to your tuition.
- Notes and tuition will be individually tailored to the student and their needs. Student strengths and weaknesses into consideration and this will be reflected in the notes/ tuition you receive.
- Group tuition available
- I offer supplementary tuition to what you already are learning in school. I
- I also offer the option to study music as an additional subject outside of school

I am a friendly and down to earth teacher with the mindset that every student can achieve!
