Personal Description:

I am a UCD graduate in financial maths, with a first class honours degree. In that course I learned about applied computational maths, statistics and financial accounts, which definitely benefit my lessons with students. After obtaining my maths degree I went on to study graduate entry medicine at RCSI and I am currently in my third year. I received in excess of 600 points in my recent Leaving Certificate, and high grades in the subjects that I am offering. I am a patient, detail-oriented and focused individual. I have been teaching grinds both in person and online since 2018 and students say that they find the experience just as beneficial online due to the screenshare application and emailing of PDF notes.

Tutoring Experience:

I have nine years experience providing Leaving Cert Maths grinds to students from my local area.

Approach to Grinds:

My recent experience in the Leaving Cerificate provide me with a vital insight into the two. I believe that an exam question focused and methodical approach is necessary when approaching the questions. In my grinds, I will help a student understand the information they need and also provide them with the skills they need to answer these questions. Having worked on online platforms previously, given the current circumstances I see online grinds as a viable alternative to an in person approach for those who might require it. I am able to screen share my iPad and update notes live for a student to see so communication is not affected. All notes and questions are sent to the student after the lesson.
