Personal Description:

My name is Aisling . I am a trained primary school teacher who has been working in the wicklow area for the past 15 years. My mother is of Spanish decent and although I am not trained as a Spanish teacher I have helped fifteen previous Leaving and Junior cert students with aural and oral work and have quite a bit of experience with exam papers.

Tutoring Experience:

I trained in Froebel college and have been teaching for the past 15 years. I have completed a masters in Special Education Needs in UCD and a postgraduate diploma in leadership and management in Maynooth university. I have also obtained a certificate in teaching English from the swan centre in Dublin.

Approach to Grinds:

Regarding Spanish grinds I tend to split the session into four components- aural, oral, grammar and comprehension. We will do alot of oral work for the oral and go through the role plays at each session as they are an important aspect of the exam. I use a lot of exam papers to build up confidence in this area.

Regarding primary school grinds I will usually assess the children to see what areas they struggle with and show them ways of managing homework and other areas of the curriculum to develop confidence. I have a lot of experience catering lessons to the childs ability so I am happy to get insight from parents or mainstream teacher if needs be.
