Personal Description:
I am a primary teacher based in Cork City. I have an honours degree in Irish and Geography and a Masters in Primary Education. I also completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs two years ago to further develop my skills to meet the individual needs of students.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been working for the last 7 years with 4th - 6th class and I am very familiar with the syllabus. I have moved to 1st and 2nd this year.
Approach to Grinds:
As an experienced teacher, I would start by assessing where the student is currently at. From this assessment I would identify the students difficulties in the subject. Through instruction and encouragement, we would work together to improve his or her standard. This in turn would develop the students confidence in their ability in that area.
