A full-time tutor brimming with passion for the subject and students I teach! Also, a UK qualified Secondary Maths teacher; with experience of state-school teaching and over a decade self-employed as a mentor/tutor.

Tutoring is my professional calling!
My decision to pursue a teaching career stemmed from my very positive experiences of providing tuition. I provide academic tuition and mentoring to adult and Young learners. I also help with Entrance exam preparations; i have enjoyed much success helping students achieve admission into some of the UK's top private/public schools. I am pleased to note that the majority of my service users have come through recommendations from other tutees.
Approach to Grinds:
Determination, home-work and a belief that it can be done are all we will need to succeed. From experience, I know that in as little as 3 weeks much progress can be made.
My tutoring style achieves best when the objective is based on the acceptance that: Although we can not all be THE best, we can all be OUR best. My goal as a tutor is simple - to enable my tutees to become successful independent learners who are not just able to pass the next assessment but continue successfully in their academic journeys. Becoming a permanent fixture in your lives is not the plan; your progress is my success.
Every tuition commitment begins with a diagnostic assessment; I need to judge for myself current areas of strength/weakness. A sure foundation is the only way to guarantee our objectives are successfully met and that we lay a solid foundation for continued academic endeavours. Every lesson is planned and H/w provided. Lesson delivery is done very much with the learner's individual learning style in mind.

Mohammed praised Abi from day one, she made math so fan to learn, The rapport she established in the first few lessons she gave Mohammed the momentum to steadily improve. I highly recommend Abisola as a competent math teacher.

This to me shows she definitely knows what she is doing. Since she started tutoring my daughter, it has been a smooth ride. My daughter now has confidence in herself and she enjoys every sessions with Abhi. She passed both exams entered and also jumped to second top in her class in maths and now even claims that it is her favourite subject - the transformation was remarkable! Suffice to say that Abhi was excellent and a good blend of patient but firm. We would not hesitate to recommend her.

Her lessons were an effective mixture of information, demonstrations, real-life situations, and video clips presented in a manner that enticed me to listen. The concepts and theories discussed in the lessons stuck in my mind because of the unique way in which they were discussed. In 3 weeks’ time, Miss Abhi managed to cover the whole syllabus and gave me enough confidence to tackle pass exam papers. Miss Abhi's wonderful personality and her enthusiasm for her subject, gave me the desire to learn more. Over the last 3 weeks especially, I have found that providing him with a choice of tasks and keeping the writing minimal have allowed him to complete a lot of work without realising so. I will admit, I was one part excited and two parts anxious to receive your initial inquiry for you were to become my very first A-Level student. The last 7weeks as your tutor have proven that my initial worries were generally unfounded. Thank you for allowing me the room to develop an ‘A-Level’ style of teaching. I will admit, I was one part excited and two parts anxious to receive your initial inquiry for you were to become my very first A-Level student. The last 7weeks as your tutor have proven that my initial worries were generally unfounded. Thank you for allowing me the room to develop an ‘A-Level’ style of teaching.
