Personal Description:
I am a Data Scientist currently working in the application of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics for national and international companies.
I use mathematics every day in my work, and am regularly taking courses myself to stay on top of current technological breakthroughs and applications.
Tutoring Experience:
I have given grinds for a total of 7+ years across Junior Cert, Leaving Cert and University level.
During my Master's I led classes of 150 students in maths and programming.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach involves three main areas
1) To spend time going over the core concepts to embed an intuition for how to approach any given question
2) To take this intuition and apply it to previous exam paper questions and other types of questions that I think would be useful
3) To breakdown the exam technique required to maximise your chances of marks on any given question
However, it is important to recognize that each individual has a different learning style and I ensure to tailor my approach so that my students get the most benefit
