Information About Emma - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Emma and I am a French native speaker currently studying Veterinary Medicine in UCD.
I am fluent in French, English and Czech.
I graduated from a fully French speaking school and then moved to Dublin for my university studies. I really like helping others so I would be delighted to share the French language and culture via tutoring.
I offer conversation classes to practice for the leaving certificate, but also regular assistance with homework or assignments.
I received the highest mark in the French equivalent of the Leaving Certificate Exams

Tutoring Experience:

I previously tutored both French and Chemistry through French.
I helped with grammar and sentence structure, tutoring children from beginner to advanced levels.
I helped them to become more comfortable with the language.
I have a passion for my students to flourish and gain confidence with speaking French.
I worked at a children's summer camp where I was a reliable mentor, helping them with their activities or answering any questions.
I learned how to be empathetic, fun, engaging and a good listener, and I strive to achieve that in my sessions.

Approach to Grinds:

I will hold the tutoring classes at my students home and create a positive, fun and engaging learning environment there.
For my tutoring sessions I always set a lesson plan together with my student, with clear defined objectives and goals depending on the needs of every individual, both on the short-term of the lesson but also on the long-term for example upcoming school exams.
