Personal Description:

Since I was young, I knew that I wanted to empower others creatively. I enjoy the feeling that comes with watching young learners embrace writing as they build their skills in essay editing, creative writing, and other areas. As an English tutor, I work hard to motivate students as they tackle homework or in-class assignments, ask questions, and more.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a lot of experience in working with children. In addition to freelance babysitting, I worked as a camp counselor. At the camp, I took my skill for tutoring and created a creative writing workshop. I ran the program for coed students between the ages of 11 and 16. I have a bachelor's degree in Theatre. My SAT composite score was 1520 out of 1600 with an 800 on both the Verbal and Writing sections.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that helping students feel comfortable can be just what they need to feel confident in their knowledge. I can help them remain focused as they learn and grow, whether they need assistance with prep for the SAT Writing and Language or they're struggling with a writing assignment for their high school English course.
