Personal Description:

I can help students make the most of their educational opportunities. I have had a variety of experiences in educational contexts that make me an effective chemistry tutor. As a chemistry tutor, I can help students improve their knowledge of the material, but I can also teach them study techniques to maximize their time.

Tutoring Experience:

As a college student, I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology. I have experience tutoring in a number of contexts, including helping people who are incarcerated study cell structure and ancient Greek humanities. I've also presented research at academic conferences. In addition to chemistry topics, I can help students with preparation for the MCAT, which features a large amount of chemistry content.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe it is important to affirm a student's abilities and learn how to motivate them successfully. Then, based on their areas of need, I lead systematic sessions to help them improve their skills and knowledge in a methodical fashion.
