Personal Description:

Hey there! A little about me: I'm a fourth year student at the University of Toronto specializing in Psychology and hold a Liberal Arts Diploma from Seneca College.
Most days you can find me either at the gym, the library or the local Star-Bucks.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 5 years teaching experience- not including the 3 plus years of helping my little sister ace primary school :)

Most of my tutoring sessions are 1 to 1, but every so often i'll be asked to help a group of friends (around 3-6 people) studying for the same test.

Most of my students have needed help with either essay writing and/or maths, but I also have had a few students reach out for help with high school/first year Uni Psychology help.

Tutoring Approach:

So my sessions are very goal oriented. I find that having a set goal, that the student and I establish in the beginning of the month, really helps with structuring the sessions and keeps the student accountable/motivated.

With each session we progressively work towards the set goal, and adapt accordingly. Some of the goals my past students have had include: getting a higher grade level, acing an upcoming test, or getting their essay writing skills up to university standard. And I'm happy to say that this system has consistently helped students achieve these goals.
