Personal Description:

I am an experienced Chinese Tutor and a former high school teacher in China for 16 years. I have extensive experience both as a Chinese tutor and a Chinese teacher at a local school.

Tutoring Experience:

I am an experienced Chinese Tutor and a former high school teacher in China for 16 years. After moving to Canada, I have had extensive experience as a Chinese teacher at Calgary Chinese Alliance School. During my duty as a Chinese teacher, I have had the opportunity to work with both beginner and advanced students in their development of Chinese in terms of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Outside of teaching Chinese, I have also had the opportunity to work one on one with Canadians who are interested in the Chinese language.

Tutoring Approach:

I approach tutoring as a time to meet my students' learning needs by differentiating instruction to meet my students' learning needs. I have developed different activities to engage my students and make language learning a fun and enriching experience. My goal is to make sure that you will be learning and having fun during out time learning Chinese!
