Personal Description:

I am able to help students with foundational reading, writing, and English skills during one-on-one sessions. Working as an English tutor appeals to me because I want to help others learn and succeed. I incorporate the four modalities of learning to appeal to a wider range of students. During sessions, I am able to move at the best pace for a particular student. I can adapt my instruction to include the most effective techniques based on the needs of each student.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary School Teaching. I have eight years of experience as a teacher. I have experience tutoring students in a variety of subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that learning has to be engaging for students. Connecting the material to real life is a powerful way to make my time as an English tutor more effective. I take the time to get to know each student and understand their needs.
