Personal Description:

My primary subject to tutor is math. Considering the importance of math, it's vital to build a deep understanding of the concepts and skills. By using different methods of teaching, I can help students make strides towards their goals. I enjoy making the concepts interactive and engaging to help students enjoy learning.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a lot of experience as a teacher. I spent eight years teaching university courses, as well as 13 years of experience teaching K-8. I planned content and activities for students at summer school and STEM camps. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Math and Science for 4-8th Education.

Tutoring Approach:

Math tutoring is meant to make the subject applicable to a student's life. I strive to keep students motivated to build up confidence, as well as review material in different ways. I know students learn in many different ways and finding the right approach can make a difference. I work with the student and parents to set goals.
