Personal Description:

I am interested in acting as an English tutor because I am a lifelong learner who would enjoy sharing the knowledge and skills I have accumulated over my lifetime. I am comfortable teaching a variety of concepts, including English and standardized test prep for exams such as the GRE. I can also help you or your student develop broader study and organizational skills that can be applied in a variety of classes.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a psychologist by trade, so I know that it can be tough to keep sane at times! Helping students with their academic coursework is one of the things that helps me live life to the fullest.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to create a common ground with every student I work with. If they know me and I know them, we can work together and pursue ambitious academic goals. I also believe that frequent practice is the key to helping students unlock their potential as independent learners.
