Personal Description:

Hello! I am currently a University of Toronto student with a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from McMaster University. I have years of experience in tutoring for various organizations in different fields of study that include english, biology, psychology, chemistry, and math.
I am offering tutoring services for students seeking extra help in these subjects over zoom or skype. Please contact me to discuss further if interested.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked as a tutor for organizations such as Empowerment Squared and UTM Helping Hands. I am experienced as an online ESL tutor and have prepared lessons, marked assignments, and wrote progress reports. I have followed the curriculum established by the organizations as well as offered curriculum improvements to better accommodate the student's needs.
Working as an online tutor has also allowed me to develop good IT skills by resolving technical and connectivity issues. I have tutored in various Math and English courses to students of different age groups, ranging from elementary students to adults.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to help students learn through retrieval practice and quizzes. I summarize the subject matters that has been taught and allow students to see if more emphasis is needed on certain topics and go over them additionally. Overall, I would say my approach to tutoring is to be as thorough as possible and set up a strong foundation that can be built upon.
