Personal Description:

I have always enjoyed studying and practicing math, particularly algebra. I have the most experience in algebra tutoring. When I work with kids, I look forward to the light bulb moment when everything becomes clear to them. I can support students as they work through math problems, as well as offer in-depth explanations about the topics they don't understand.

Tutoring Experience:

I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Physics Education with a minor in Math Education. I am a student-teacher at a high school as well. I have primarily tutored middle and high school-level students; however, I have worked with elementary and college learners as well. I have also taken classes in tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that my job as a math tutor is to guide my student through the process of learning. They can learn the material for themselves through engaging activities while I offer insight and advice as needed. From the start, I strive to build each session around the student as an individual based on their goals, hobbies, and interests.
