Personal Description:

I'm an assistant principal at a local elementary charter school. Teaching gives me a feeling of achievement as my students reach their academic goals. As an English tutor, I can help you with Comparative Literature, English grammar and syntax, reading, writing, and more. I can also help my students discover the strategies they need to do well in all of their classes.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and then went on to earn my master's degree in Special Education. I have tutored middle and high school students in a one-on-one setting for more than seven years. In addition to English subjects, I can help students who are preparing for exams like the ACT, SAT, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

It's no secret that students each learn in their own way. My skill is being able to adjust my tutoring style to match the needs of each student. Educational research has shown that tutoring sessions should follow a particular format and that is what I use while adapting the details to fit the student and subject at hand.
